About this opportunity

The Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is seeking proposals for a single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide commercial medical and surgical consumables, equipment, and supplies. The goal is to maintain readiness caches/kits located across the Continental United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Guam to support ASPR's National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) teams during public health emergencies and catastrophic events. The RFP requires the contractor to have the capability to source at least 80% of the medical supply needs, with subcontracted capabilities for the remainder. The evaluation factors, in descending order of importance, are: Technical Capability (70%), Management Approach (20%), and Price/Cost (10%). Proposals are due by 3:00 PM ET on June 17, 2024.

This is not a set-aside procurement. The government has not provided incumbent contractor information, and the maximum contract value is to be determined. The minimum order amount is $2,000, and the contract will have a 12-month base period with four 12-month option years. The place of performance is the United States, including CONUS and OCONUS locations.
