About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen intends to acquire parts for the Patriot Electric Power Plant III (EPP III) on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC) Supply Chain Management Directorate, Strategic Sourcing Directorate, through a market survey with responses due November 12, 2026. No set-aside is used. The survey covers two load bank, electrical NSNs (6150-01-455-4207 and 6150-01-486-6937) and one hybrid relay NSN (5945-01-577-2614, PN 335.01.0040). The load bank tests EPP III generator sets through field preventive maintenance checks on 150 KW, 400Hz generator sets, and the relay controls generator operations by opening or closing circuits when frequency changes. The Government does not possess the technical data package for these parts. Respondents must show manufacturing or supply capability and past repair performance or purchases, supported by a questionnaire, drawings, and test results. The questionnaire covers engineering staff experienced in cable assembly design, obsolescence management, identification of alternatives, delivery capability, inventory status, and supply chain vendors, and respondents must confirm capability to meet Government preferences for spot buy and fixed quantity procurement. The load bank was last purchased August 17, 2026, under Contract SPRBL1-20-D-0015 for 21 units.

The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC) – Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCMD) – Strategic Sourcing Directorate (SSD), intends to acquire Parts to support the Electric Power Plant (EPP III) on the PATRIOT Missile Defense System.

Requirements Description:

The load bank is a piece of electrical test equipment used to simulate an electrical load, to test an electric power source.
