About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center, intends to solicit sources capable of manufacturing and supplying diesel engine governors and radiators to support the PATRIOT Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) program, with a market survey response deadline of October 26, 2026. No set-aside applies.
The components are critical sustainment parts required to maintain operational readiness of power generation equipment supporting the PATRIOT Air Defense Weapon System. Governors regulate engine speed and frequency output for stable electrical power generation; radiators provide essential engine cooling to prevent overheating under demanding mission conditions.
The procurement covers five diesel engine governor NSNs (2910-01-368-7644, 2910-01-368-9883, 2910-01-373-2591, 2910-01-371-4356, 2910-01-371-2532) with estimated initial production quantities ranging from 7 to 114 units per part number, and one radiator NSN (2930-01-541-1912) with estimated quantity of 50 units.
The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for these parts; the TDP is not available for release. Diesel engine governors were last purchased on January 1, 2014, under Contract SPE7LX-14-D-0037 for a quantity of 260 units.
Respondents must demonstrate manufacturing and supply capability, past performance on similar contracts, engineering staff qualifications, experience with obsolescence management and material alternatives, ability to meet U.S. Government delivery requirements, and willingness to support spot buy and fixed quantity procurement approaches. Responses must include company point of contact, CAGE code, and DUNS number, along with product availability confirmation and identification of supply chain vendors that could impact delivery schedules with proposed mitigation strategies.
