About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration Seattle Regional Office is conducting a market survey for janitorial services at approximately 20 FAA facilities across northern and southern Alaska. The procurement will require contractors to provide comprehensive cleaning services including window cleaning, covering all designated spaces such as halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entryways, and lobbies. Contractors must supply all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform these services under NAICS code 561720 for Janitorial Services. The market survey aims to assess marketplace capabilities and determine appropriate competition levels for potential set-aside designations including Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses, Small Businesses, or full open competition. Interested vendors must submit qualification and capability information by September 25, 2025, with responses used solely for planning purposes and at vendors' own expense.
Currently, no set-aside designation has been applied to this opportunity, as the market survey results will inform the final competition structure determination. The solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific contract values or budget estimates. The scope covers approximately 20 facilities distributed across Alaska's northern and southern regions, representing a significant geographic footprint for service delivery. No contract timeline or performance period details are specified in this preliminary market research phase. The FAA emphasizes that this survey serves planning purposes only and will not result in immediate contract awards or vendor compensation for submission costs.
