About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center has published a Special Notice to conduct a market survey for FASTER and SML Support Services. The FAA is seeking sources to provide support services related to developing and evaluating technologies, conducting laboratory and field tests, performing analyses and simulations, and providing data to support FAA regulatory, certification, and NextGen activities.
The purpose of this market survey is to identify large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, women-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and 8(a) certified firms that can assist the Structures and Materials Branch (ANG-E281) in areas such as composites and advanced materials research, laboratory operations, analysis and modeling, maintenance and inspection research, general engineering, and program support. Interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement of no more than 5 pages by May 1, 2024. The FAA will use the responses to this market survey to determine the acquisition strategy, which may include an unrestricted competition, a set-aside, or another approach depending on the level of competition.
