About this opportunity
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking multiple contractors to support military manufacturing projects through a comprehensive Manufacturing and Services Acquisition (MASA) contract. The procurement will cover five distinct task areas: Production Hardware, Research and Development Hardware, Plating, Electronics Assembly, and Advanced Machining, with a focus on build-to-print fabrication and manufacturing processes. Interested vendors must submit a capabilities statement by 3:00 p.m. EST on May 22, 2025, and are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The source selection will be based on "best value" criteria, with vendors evaluated on their technical capabilities across the specified task areas. The Request for Proposals (RFP) is scheduled for release in FY25 Quarter 4 and will be available exclusively in electronic format on SAM.gov.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and will be a competitive, multiple-award procurement. The anticipated contract structure is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supply type contract, with award expected in the 3rd Quarter of FY26. The contract will utilize NAICS Code 332710 (Machine Shops) and PSC Code 1377, suggesting a focus on precision manufacturing and specialized device production. Vendors must provide comprehensive company information, including organization details, contact information, business size, and identification numbers such as DUNS and CAGE Code. While specific award values are not disclosed, the multi-task approach indicates a potentially significant contract with opportunities for vendors across various manufacturing and technical service domains.
