About this opportunity
The Defense Health Agency seeks firm-fixed-price maintenance and repair services for 65 anesthesia units at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital and three outlying clinics in South Korea, with quotes due July 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM HST. The procurement is a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside under full and open competition with tiered evaluation favoring Korean local sources (Tier 1) over U.S. or off-shore sources (Tier 2) per the US-ROK Status of Forces Agreement; offerors must clearly identify their tier on the quote cover page or risk non-responsiveness.
Place of performance is South Korea at Camp Humphreys, Camp Walker, and Osan Air Base. The base period runs August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027, with four one-year option periods extending through July 31, 2031. The NAICS code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $34 million.
Services encompass all labor, parts, materials, travel, tools, and test equipment necessary to maintain anesthesia equipment in full OEM compliance, including quarterly preventive maintenance checks in August, November, February, and May, emergency response within two hours acknowledgment and eight-hour on-site arrival, routine call response within 24 hours, and five-day repair completion. The contractor must maintain a 98 percent uptime guarantee calculated quarterly (117 functioning days per 120-day quarter), excluding Government-caused delays, parts unavailability, or cybersecurity restrictions. Contractor personnel require minimum five years' experience maintaining the specified equipment and appropriate medical equipment certifications; OEM or Certifying Institute certificates are acceptable, with alternative documentation permitted if Korean certifications are unavailable. Pricing is monthly unit pricing covering both scheduled and unscheduled services without per-repair or per-part ceilings, with the contractor responsible for all replacement parts excluding consumables. Solicitation Amendments 0001 and 0002 (posted July 14 and July 16) post questions and answers clarifying certification, pricing, response times, and equipment locations; offerors must acknowledge receipt of amendments prior to submission.
