About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking a small business contractor to perform electrical infrastructure installation at eleven Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) located near Great Falls, Montana. The project involves installing electrical conduit, conductors, service panels, main breakers, circuit breakers, and outlets across multiple lagoon locations, with each site requiring precise electrical H-frame installation according to detailed project drawings. Potential contractors must demonstrate capability to execute comprehensive electrical work, including providing all necessary plant, labor, equipment, supervision, and materials. The government is specifically targeting small business concerns including 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) categories for this prime contract. The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside with a performance period of 154 calendar days, allowing approximately 14 days per site and excluding work during winter months (November through April). Work hours are restricted to 6:45am-5:15pm Monday through Thursday, with contractors required to complete and pass final inspection at each site before proceeding to the next location. While specific award value is not disclosed, the project involves extensive electrical infrastructure work across multiple missile facility locations. Contractors must adhere to strict quality control standards, including providing a Quality Control Manager with five years of experience and maintaining comprehensive daily documentation. Environmental and site security protocols are rigorous, requiring detailed permits, hazardous materials plans, and compliance with military installation access and work regulations.
