About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks proposals for an umbrella contract to establish an overarching agreement with the potential for multiple subcontracts for repairable and consumable material end items, maintenance support services, and potential repair or remanufacturing services in support of weapons systems. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation seeks to improve material support for Unison-manufactured aircraft components through this effort. Proposals are due by August 30, 2019 for the initial subcontract, which includes consumable parts. Any resulting subsumable contract may have a period of performance up to ten years to acquire these goods and services, while the umbrella contract has a potential term of fifteen years.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The incumbent, Unison, is being considered for sole-source award of both the umbrella contract and initial subcontract as a negotiated acquisition. As an unrestricted procurement, all responsible sources may respond. Performance will occur at locations worldwide where the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation requires material support for Unison-manufactured aircraft components. Proposals are due by August 30, 2019 to acquire an estimated value of goods and services over the lifetime of the multiple subcontracts under this umbrella agreement.
