About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy London seeks to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for local removal services on an as-needed basis. The Department of State is procuring both defurnishing and furnishing services, including collection, loading, transportation, and storage of USG household furnishings and appliances. Qualified vendors must demonstrate proven capability and specialization in removal services, possess appropriate employers or public liability insurance, and be VAT-registered businesses operating in the London area. The solicitation requires vendors to submit completed Statements of Work, three suitable references, insurance certificates, and detailed pricing schedules via email to Procurement_Box6@state.gov with subject line referencing BPA I.D. #19UK5626A0011. The submission deadline is 17:00 GMT on February 26, 2026, with no extension to the stated due date. Evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the notice, but vendors must demonstrate technical capability, provide satisfactory references, and submit competitive pricing that includes all parking and call-out charges.

This procurement includes no set-aside designations and identifies no incumbent contractors. The BPA does not obligate the government to award any specific dollar value or guarantee minimum purchase quantities; rather, it establishes terms under which authorized personnel may place service calls as needed. The place of performance is London, United Kingdom, with primary collection and delivery points at the Storawayze warehouse (Unit 10 Wilberforce Road, West Hendon, London NW9 6AW) and the U.S. Embassy at 33 Nine Elms. Services must include secure overnight storage capabilities and next-day warehouse delivery options when required. The agreement will allow for optional add-on services such as set-up assistance and warehouse staff escort services as requested by the Embassy.
