About this opportunity
The California Army National Guard, through the Department of the Army, is soliciting commercial kitchen equipment for installation at its San Miguel, California facility. The procurement includes thirteen line items of commercial kitchen equipment, specifically one convection steamer, mixer attachments in 20-quart and 40-quart sizes, two gas griddles, one tilting skillet braising pan, one gas charbroiler, nine ingredient bins in varying sizes, two reach-in refrigerators, and associated installation and disconnection services. All items are classified under NAICS code 423440 and Product Service Code 7310 (Food Cooking, Baking, and Serving Equipment), and the contract will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis with the contractor responsible for transportation to the destination. The solicitation deadline for proposal submission is April 10, 2026, with delivery required by May 15, 2026. An amendment issued on March 30, 2026 removed one line item (CLIN 0013, a rolling refrigerator unit) from the original solicitation. The contracting officer is Chad Walton, and the point of contact is Martine Beltran at the W7MX USPFO Activity in San Miguel, California.
This solicitation is set aside exclusively for Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), which restricts competition to entities meeting WOSB qualifications. No incumbent contractors or award values are specified in the solicitation documents provided. Contractors must be prepared to manage logistics independently, as the final installation site at Building 6028 lacks loading dock and liftgate equipment; items must be manually offloaded from the source location at Building 953. The contract incorporates standard FAR and DFARS clauses applicable to small business set-asides, including a 50 percent limitation on subcontracting for service and supply portions, and requires invoice submission through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system with payment via electronic funds transfer. The place of performance is San Miguel, California, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the W7MX USPFO Activity facility.

Update #3 · Latest ·
Building 953 has a forklift available, but no loading dock. Building 6028, the installation site, has no loading dock, liftgate, or forklift. Given the distance between the two locations and the lack of equipment at the final installation site, your team will need to be prepared to move the items from building 953 and manually offload them at building 6028.
Amendment is to remove a duplicate CLIN (0013)
