About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps is seeking comprehensive life support services for a large-scale exercise involving 1,200 personnel across MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS Cherry Point. The procurement focuses on critical facilities and infrastructure support, including sleeping tents sized for 50-200 persons, mobile laundry trailers with a 500 lb/hour capacity, shower facilities, portable flood-lights, potable water delivery and storage systems, grey water management, and power generation capabilities. The solicitation targets businesses within NAICS code 561210, with a small business size standard of $47 Million. Interested vendors must submit detailed responses by May 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, providing comprehensive information about their business size, small business certifications, GSA/FSS contract availability, previous government agency service experience, and SAM.gov registration status. Responses must be submitted via email to specified Marine Corps contacts, with telephone submissions explicitly prohibited.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this contract opportunity. The exercise is scheduled to occur from early September to October 2025, spanning approximately three weeks of sustained operational support. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the scope suggests a substantial service contract covering infrastructure and logistical support for a significant military training event. The total service requirements include provisioning sleeping accommodations for 600 personnel across multiple tents, implementing self-service laundry capabilities, establishing shower facilities, ensuring potable water and power generation, and managing waste water disposal. The Marine Corps will use these submissions to assess vendor capabilities and potential contract viability, though the sources sought notice does not guarantee a contract award.
