About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service is preparing to lease 1,500 to 2,000 square feet of storage space in St. Peters, Missouri, with expressions of interest due by June 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central time. The Government will evaluate alternative locations if economically advantageous, considering relocation costs and agency downtime alongside space availability.
The required space must be located within a delineated area bounded by Highway 109 (west), Highway 100 (north), River Des Peres and Telegraph Road (east), and Highway M/MM (south). The space must be first-floor, contiguous, and meet Government requirements for 24/7 access, fire safety, accessibility, flood-plain avoidance, and sustainability standards. A minimum 25-foot depth is required to accommodate trailer loading and unloading, with adequate turning radius and back-in access. Climate-controlled secure warehouse or evidence space with onsite private or public restrooms is the stated priority; a security camera system is preferred.
The Government is currently considering only existing buildings. New construction will be considered only if the building can meet the required occupancy delivery date. Respondents must be active in SAM.gov during the lease term and execute a Government lease incorporating applicable FAR clauses. Responses must include building name and address, space location within the building, and availability date, among other mandatory property-specific information. The Government reserves the right to disregard responses that fail to provide all mandatory submissions.
