About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking a contractor to provide labor for the assembly, testing, and integration of finished hardware components for Qatar's PATRIOT Radar and Battle Management Command and Control System (BMC4I) in support of the PATRIOT Weapon System. This acquisition will be placed on an existing subsumable indefinite delivery contract (SPRRA2-25-D-0016) to support Qatar's PATRIOT operations under the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space. The government has determined this is a sole-source procurement under Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(1), citing that the data necessary for competitive procurement is not physically available and cannot be obtained economically. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements to be eligible for award, though firms recognizing their capability to produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves and seek source approval for future competitions. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on April 13, 2026, with a 15-day response period ending April 28, 2026, and inquiries should be directed via email to Lauren Tatum, Contract Specialist, at DLA-AHC1.

This acquisition carries no set-aside designation and is restricted to Raytheon (CAGE Code 05716) as the sole-source contractor. The spares list contains over 600 line items spanning electronic components such as circuit card assemblies, power supplies, and microprocessors; mechanical assemblies including fans and actuators; electrical equipment like cable assemblies and circuit breakers; and vehicle-related parts such as alternators and pumps. The list includes both classified items—such as microwave device subassemblies, delay lines, and weighting filters—and unclassified, non-export controlled components, with quantities ranging from single units to over 150 items for high-demand components. The document is dated March 23, 2026, reflecting the current bill of materials required to support Qatar's PATRIOT operations. While no specific award value or timeline is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the scope and complexity of integrating over 600 component line items suggests a substantial contract supporting ongoing international defense operations.
