About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard is seeking a catering contractor to provide boxed lunch meals for the 204th TAOG Annual Training, located in Hammond, Louisiana. The solicitation (W912NR-25-Q-A018) is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercially prepared meals to be delivered between 29 May and 12 June 2025. The government will evaluate quotes based on price and two technical factors: maintaining food temperature and proper food handling during transportation, both of which will be assessed as acceptable or unacceptable. Interested contractors must submit their quotes electronically to Contract Specialist Lavon Wilson and Contracting Officer Crystal Stiles by 10:00 AM on May 15, 2025, with questions due by 10:00 AM on May 14, 2025. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous offeror, with the understanding that the lowest price will not necessarily win the bid.
The solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 722320 (Caterers) and will be a firm fixed-price contract. The meals will be delivered to 1501 Industrial Park Drive in Hammond, Louisiana, serving between 311-353 personnel daily during the training period. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract requires approximately 4,943 individually packaged boxed lunches that must meet USDA food safety guidelines and include a variety of menu options without repeating meals within a 5-day period. Contractors must provide single-use serving items, a range of beverages, and ensure meals are delivered 30 minutes prior to mealtime while maintaining appropriate food temperatures. Potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and demonstrate compliance with Louisiana Health and Safety Code and Tri Service Food Code.
