About this opportunity
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest has issued a Justification and Approval to increase the capacity of a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) by $86,000,000, bringing the total contract value to $326,000,000. The MACC, originally awarded to eight contractors, provides design-build and design-bid-build services for waterfront infrastructure projects, including construction, renovation, and repair of marine facilities such as piers, wharves, sea walls, docks, and related utilities. The modification will support ongoing and planned projects primarily within NAVFAC Northwest's area of responsibility, covering Washington (92%), with smaller percentages in Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and other U.S. locations. Currently, the contract has 23 active task orders and 11 planned projects through February 2026, when the final option period expires. No immediate funding is being obligated with this modification, with future funding to be provided through military construction and operations & maintenance (Navy) funds as task orders are issued.
Notice text
This Justification and Approval provides for an $86,000,000 indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) modification to a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (MACC). This modification increases the not-to-exceed ceiling capacity of a previously awarded contract for construction of piers, wharves, sea walls, docks, marinas, shore protection, dredging, and related utilities. This award brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $326,000,000.
Work will be performed primarily within the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest area of responsibility including Washington (92%), Oregon (2%), Alaska (2%), Idaho (1%), Montana (1%), and Wyoming (1%). Work may also be performed in the remainder of the U.S. (1%), with an expected completion date of February 2026. No funding is being obligated as part of this modification. Funding will be provided by military construction and operations & maintenance, (Navy) funds upon issuance of task orders. NAVFAC Northwest, Silverdale, Washington, is the contracting activity.
