About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Orlando Contracting Center (ACC Orlando) issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice for a six-month bridge contract to support the Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) Mission Training Complex. The contract, awarded to Valiant Global Defense Services, LLC, provides Mission Command training and support services for multiple Army units, including I Corps, 7th Infantry Division, and various Brigade Combat Teams. The bridge contract, running from November 20, 2024, to May 19, 2025, was necessitated by delays in the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) II Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract award and subsequent protest. Despite a notice of intent posted on SAM.gov, only two responses were received, neither of which demonstrated adequate capabilities to support critical training exercises like Exercise Yama Sakura 87 and Warfighter 25-02. The contract ensures continuity of Mission Command training support while allowing time to complete the source selection process for the next competitive task order. Specific award values were not disclosed in the documentation, but the contract is primarily structured as a Firm-Fixed Price arrangement with some cost elements.
Notice text
This is a non-personal services requirement to provide individual, leader, small unit, battle staff, and simulation-driven collective Mission Command (MC) training, technical, exercise, simulation, and organizational support for the US Army’s I Corps, 7th Infantry Division, 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, 1st Special Forces Group, 1st Multi Domain Task Force, 3rd Multi Domain Task Force, 5th Security Force Assistance Brigade, and 13 assigned or separate Brigade Combat Teams, Functional, and/or Multi-Functional Brigades.
The current JBLM Mission Training Center (MTC) Task Order, W900KK-18-D-0003/W900KK-22-F-0036, with Valiant Integrated Services, LLC expired on 19 November 2024. This action established a six month C-type bridge contract of the current JBLM MTC requirement from 20 November 2024 to 19 May 2025, allowing time to complete the source selection process and finalize the next JBLM MTC competitive task order award, under the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) II Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract (MATOC), while ensuring continuity of support for critical Mission Command (MC) training.
Awarded contract W900KK-25-C-0007 to unknown vendor for unknown amount on 2024-11-18.
