About this opportunity
The Air Force Portfolio Acquisition Executive Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management is conducting market research through a Request for Information due September 24, 2026, to identify vendors capable of providing technical engineering support services for Global Positioning Satellite Common Component software updates to the Joint Modernized Handheld device.
The 519 Software Engineering Squadron requires development of GPS CC software updates that interface with the TAG-owned JMHH device, which will be loaned to the USAF via bailment agreement. Respondents must be prepared to enter into Associate Contractor Agreements with third-party integrators and other stakeholders as applicable. All CC updates must be exportable with the ability to support partner nations. The effort is classified under NAICS 541330 (Engineering Services) and PSC R425 (Support—Professional: Engineering/Technical).
Access to restricted attachments requires completion of the FA2318-JMHH Engineering Support Services Documentation Request and Disclaimer Form (Attachment 1), submitted to krystal.lamarca@us.af.mil or christopher.nugent.6@us.af.mil, or through the DoD Secure Access File Exchange. Access is limited to the Data Custodian identified in the company's Joint Certification Program Certificate. Documentation contains Controlled Unclassified Information; recipients must restrict use to RFI response purposes, destroy materials upon completion, obtain prior written approval before transferring information to other firms, and prohibit sharing with foreign governments or use in foreign contracts.
This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue an RFP or contract. Non-response does not preclude future participation.
