About this opportunity
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency has awarded a sole-source bridge contract to iWorks Corp. (CAGE 4Q7A1) for Personnel Security Support Services on a firm-fixed-price basis under contract HS002126CE011, effective June 30, 2026.
The justification cites 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.103-1(c)(2)(ii), permitting sole-source awards for follow-on contracts involving highly specialized services available only from the original source. The current contract HS002121C0002 with iWorks expires July 4, 2026; the bridge contract begins no later than July 5, 2026, to prevent service gaps during the ongoing recompete effort, anticipated to award during calendar year 2026. Market research identified multiple small business contractors as potentially capable, but iWorks is the only responsive source capable of providing immediate turnaround support with no ramp-up time due to the specialized and critical nature of the mission, extensive knowledge requirements, and security clearance mandates.
The bridge period is four months (base) with a six-month option to extend, funded through FY26 Operations and Maintenance and Working Capital funds. Services include developing processes and procedures, assessing and validating information, drafting research reports, and collecting metrics in support of the Defense Vetting and Continuous Vetting mission under Security Executive Agent Directive 6. Work involves sophisticated data analysis, advanced mathematical and statistical modeling, counterintelligence and human intelligence targeting, complex case assessments for High-Risk High-Threat individuals and Suspicious Contact Reports, and direct support for the adjudication process.
