The National Park Service Midwest Region seeks removal and replacement of windows and exterior doors at Quarters 13, Jewel Cave National Monument in Custer, South Dakota, with proposals due August 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM Mountain Time. This procurement is set aside 100 percent for HUBZone small businesses and carries a firm fixed-price structure with an estimated project magnitude between $25,000 and $100,000.

Place of performance is Custer, South Dakota (11,149 US Highway 16, elevation 5,500 feet). Work must commence within 10 calendar days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 90 calendar days thereafter. The project entails selective demolition and removal of sixteen existing exterior windows and two exterior door assemblies, followed by installation of sixteen new metal-clad wood windows and two new insulated residential exterior doors with compatible storm doors. Windows must be supplied by H Window Company, Marvin Windows and Doors, or Pella Corporation (or approved equals) with NFRC U-factor maximum of 0.30 and SHGC maximum of 0.40, rated for high-altitude conditions. Steel entrance doors must be furnished by Taylor Entrance Systems or approved equals, rated 90-minute fire resistance with Grade 40 security rating.
