About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces is seeking a contractor to provide snow and ice removal services for the 773rd Force Support Squadron's Child Development Centers and School Age Centers located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The contractor must supply all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, and supervision to clear snow and ice from facility entrances, sidewalks, and ramps across multiple locations. Key performance requirements include removing overnight snow exceeding 2 inches by 0500 hours Monday through Friday and maintaining snow depths under 2 inches during facility operations from 0600 to 1800 hours. The government will evaluate proposals based on three primary factors: price (using the provided pricing schedule), technical acceptability (submission of a technical approach in accordance with the Performance Work Statement without restating the PWS), and pricing for optional contract years. Critical deadlines include November 11, 2025, for proposal submission via email, October 20, 2025, for submission of questions, and all contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
This solicitation is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, restricting competition to small business entities. The contract covers snow removal services for approximately 7,838 to 6,368 square yards of sidewalks across seven CDC facilities located in Denali, Kodiak, Talkeetna, Sitka, Illa, Ketchikan, and Katmai, with the base contract period running from October 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026, followed by four optional one-year renewal periods. The Performance Work Statement specifies that the contractor must provide two daily snow removal services and clear all overnight accumulation exceeding 2 inches. The place of performance is Anchorage, Alaska 99506, with services performed at the specified CDC facilities throughout Alaska. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the solicitation notice, though estimated workload documentation has been supplied to assist contractors in developing their pricing proposals.
