About this opportunity
This Special Notice announces an Industry Day hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District to provide information on the JBE088 Joint Integrated Test and Training Center project at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The Industry Day presentation will take place on March 8, 2024 to communicate project requirements, incorporate industry feedback, and discuss feasibility, scheduling, and forecasting with industry representatives.
The Industry Day aims to improve industry's understanding of the project, which involves construction of a two-story 150,000 square foot facility and small substation to meet Intelligence Community Directive 705 standards. Contractors must RSVP with name and company by March 1, 2024 to attend, and are required to obtain base access approval and arrange their own travel and lodging. The agenda includes an introductory presentation from 10:00-11:00am followed by 30-minute one-on-one sessions with government officials from 11:00am-3:00pm to discuss the project. While attendance is voluntary, it provides an opportunity for industry feedback prior to anticipated release of a construction contract solicitation in spring-summer 2025 for project completion by November 2027.
