About this opportunity

The Air Mobility Command's 87th Contracting Squadron is preparing to solicit a firm-fixed-price contract for purchase, installation, and integration of a flightline access control system at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, with responses to this sources sought notice due August 19, 2026. The procurement is set aside for total small business.

The system comprises 16 access control points, 16 multi-head cameras, and one server appliance (Motorola/Avigilon UA-APP-ENT-7). The brand requirement is driven by compatibility with existing camera systems in use on the flightline, base access points, and within the 87th Security Forces Squadron and 87th Communications Squadron; Motorola/Avigilon is the only system capable of connecting and annunciating via the AMC LMR Core ATO. The contractor will install hardware only to the network switch and coordinate all restricted-area work with 87th SFS/ESS with three calendar days' advance notice.

All components must meet Section 889 of the 2019 NDAA, FIPS 140-2, and Common Access Card authentication without biometrics or PINs. The contractor must apply DoD STIGs to the management appliance and comply with DoD Information Assurance and DIACAP requirements including quarterly patch management and audit logging. Warranty extends a minimum of three years from government acceptance, with one-hour notification for failures and 8 hours or next duty day on-site response for complete system failure.

Performance period is six months after award. The NAICS code is 561621 (Security Systems Services, except Locksmiths) with a $25 million size standard. The Government seeks qualified sources nationwide and has posted a draft SOW for industry review.
