The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service intends to modernize two passenger elevators at the Jack Brooks Federal Building located in Beaumont, Texas. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the modernization of 2 existing electric passenger elevators at the Jack Brooks Federal Building. Location of this project is at 300 Willow St., Beaumont, TX 77701.

This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238290 Other Building Equipment, with a size standard of $22 Million. All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal.

The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Best Value trade-off methodology. A site visit will be conducted on December 12, 2023, at 10:30 AM CST (Local Time). Details pertaining to the site visit are enclosed in the solicitation. Note: This will be the only site visit scheduled. No additional site visits will be scheduled.

Interested firms are encouraged to attend the site visit. The solicitation closing date will be January 10, 2024, at 4:00 PM CST (local time).

The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: https://sam.gov/ (Contract Opportunities). No telephone requests for documents will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarifications must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation posting.
