About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 (VHA VISN 16) has issued a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source task order for preventive maintenance and repair services on a Canon PRIME-SERIES-S/3.000 Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner at the Alexandria VA Medical Center in Pineville, Louisiana. The solicitation, posted on November 19, 2025, is being conducted under existing contract #SPE2D1-17-D-0022 and is targeted exclusively to Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc., a large business contractor. Contractors interested in competing for this opportunity must submit evidence of competitive interest by November 24, 2025 at 9:00 AM Central Time to the Contracting Officer. If the contractor is not a Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. employee, they must provide a letter from Canon authorizing their access to current Canon system software, parts, and technical support. The contract requires specific performance standards including 98% equipment uptime, 30-minute phone response time, and 4-hour on-site response time to ensure uninterrupted medical care for veterans at the facility.
