About this opportunity

The Air Force Special Operations Command is seeking to procure nine ISU 90 Containers, or equal products, to support military operations. These military-grade intermodal cargo containers must meet specific salient characteristics, including four doors, exterior dimensions not exceeding 110 inches in width by 90 inches in length by 93 inches in height, an interior volume between 390 and 400 cubic feet, and compatibility with standard military transport vehicles including 2.5-ton and 5-ton trucks. The containers must be forklift-capable in all four directions, stackable when loaded up to 10,000 pounds, and intermodal-transportable by air, land, sea, or rail. Construction requirements include an all-aluminum extruded, mechanically fastened pallet base with winching rings at every lower corner and a pre-drilled base for optional caster sets. Evaluation will be conducted using lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with the government intending to award without discussions but reserving the right to conduct discussions if necessary. Acceptable colors include green, tan, black, gray, and white. The proposal due date is March 12, 2026, with all quotes required to be valid for at least 30 days.

This solicitation is designated as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, requiring all offerors to be eligible small businesses with active SAM registration at the time of award. The procurement was amended on March 9, 2026 to increase the quantity from six to nine containers and to establish the small business set-aside designation. Full shipment must occur no later than May 1, 2026 to meet mission needs, with delivery FOB destination to 23 STS AF BPN, 601 Independence Road, Hurlburt Field, Florida 32544.
