About this opportunity

Naval Air Systems Command awarded a firm-fixed-price task order valued at $41.66 million to Textron Systems Corporation on August 31, 2026, for contractor-owned and contractor-operated unmanned aircraft system intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001926G1007.

The task order, designated ISR Maritime B-Kit Task Order N0001926F1170, encompasses delivery of three Maritime B-Kits to support naval forces in the United States Indo-Pacific Command, with primary focus on the Navy's Seventh Fleet. Each kit includes a pre-operational support period, a 12-month operational support period providing up to 175 sensor data hours per month, and a post-operational period. The order contains additional line items for environmental shock testing and familiarization training. Total period of performance spans up to 60 months including a base period and multiple option periods. Place of performance involves land- and sea-based operations supporting U.S. Navy and joint forces. The award was made without a set-aside and followed limited competition under a Class Justification and Approval that authorizes task order awards to four pre-approved contractors—AeroVironment, Insitu Inc., Shield AI, and Textron Systems—selected based on unique technical requirements including UAS maturity, Technology Readiness Level 8, cybersecurity Authority To Operate certification, and heavy fuel engine propulsion capabilities.
