The procurement offers seven lots sold on a per-pound basis: Irony Aluminum (18,600 lbs. minimum, 2 roll-offs), Painted Aluminum (7,800 lbs. minimum, 1 roll-off), Mixed Copper Breakage (23,000 lbs. minimum, 2 roll-offs), Irony Stainless Steel (14,000 lbs. minimum, 2 roll-offs), Stainless Steel (19,800 lbs. minimum, 2 roll-offs), 316 Stainless Steel (6,800 lbs. minimum, 1 roll-off), and MLC Aluminum (27,000 lbs. minimum, 4 roll-offs). Listed amounts are minimums; actual quantities may exceed estimates, with additional material invoiced at the established bid rate within five business days of final pickup. All material is sold as-is for scrap-metal purposes only, with sales final. Payment in full is due prior to material transfer via ACH (preferred), bank draft, or cashier's check payable to U.S. Treasury. The buyer assumes full liability for taxes and hazardous substances, must maintain proper vehicle licensing and insurance per California regulations, and certify that all purchased property will be completely destroyed by melting, shredding, or equivalent method. Late payment penalties escalate from $50.00 in week one to $150.00 by week four, after which the buyer is permanently removed from future bidding lists.
