About this opportunity
The Department of the Army's Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Fort McCoy has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source contract to InVeris Training Solutions, Inc. The agency intends to procure battery eliminator assembly parts (part number 1045729-1) for live fire training systems at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. The acquisition will be conducted as a firm-fixed-price order against an existing GSA contract, with delivery required within 120 days of contract award. The notice was posted on September 24, 2025, and represents a sole source procurement valued under the simplified acquisition threshold. InVeris Training Solutions is identified as the only company capable of providing compatible parts for the current training systems at the installation.
The primary purpose of this procurement is to obtain specialized target parts essential for maintaining live fire training capabilities at Fort McCoy. Interested contractors have until 8:00 AM Central Time on September 29, 2025, to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations demonstrating their eligibility and ability to provide these services. Contractors must provide clear and convincing evidence of their capabilities and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for contract award. All responses must be submitted electronically to Contract Specialist Tyler Adams, as oral communications are not acceptable. If no qualifying responses are received by the deadline, the Army will proceed with the sole source award to InVeris Training Solutions without further competition. The statutory authority cited permits sole source procurement under the simplified acquisition procedures when only one source can meet the government's requirements.
