About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service is announcing its intent to award sole-source delivery/task orders for Anascorp Injection (Centruroides scorpion antivenom) to Anovorx Distribution LLC under a VA Federal Supply Schedule contract, with a response deadline of June 6, 2026. The award covers three task orders under FSS contract 36F79718D0404 for the Whiteriver Service Unit and Phoenix Area clinics and hospitals from June 1, 2026 through April 14, 2027, justified under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) as a sole-source requirement where only one source is capable of supplying the product.
Anascorp is an equine-derived antivenom indicated for treatment of scorpion envenomation, administered as needed following clinical signs including neurological symptoms and respiratory distress. Anovorx Distribution LLC is the sole distributor under the referenced VA contract offering this specific product. Market research through two sources-sought notices posted to GSA eBuy and SAM.gov between March 24 and April 3, 2026 generated no competing responses. The justification cites prior VA determination that FSS schedule pricing is fair and reasonable under FAR 8.404(d). Any responsible sources capable of providing the requested supplies may submit a capability statement for Agency consideration; contact information for submission is provided in the associated justification document.
