About this file

This is a Federal Supply Schedule Limited-Sources Justification for a sole-source award of Anascorp antivenom injection supplies to Anavorx Distribution LLC.

The Indian Health Service (IHS) Whiteriver Service Unit is requesting three Delivery/Task orders under VA Contract No. 36F79718D0404 to procure Anascorp Injection (Centruroides Scorpion Immune F(ab')2 Equine), NDC #66621-0150-02, a 10mL injection vial containing 120mg/vial of equine-derived antivenom for treatment of scorpion envenomation. The product will be provided on an as-needed basis for clinics and hospitals in the Phoenix Area. The justification cites FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) as authority, establishing that only one source—Anavorx Distribution, LLC, located at 1710 N Shelby Oaks Dr Ste 6, Memphis, TN 38134-7403—is capable of providing this unique, highly specialized product. Anascorp is the only equine-derived antivenom available under the referenced VA contract that expires April 14, 2026, and is widely used by Southwest Regional Indian Health Services facilities. The acquisition is structured as a new requirement with firm-fixed pricing using Other Funds (IHS1509028). Market research conducted through two Sources Sought notices posted on GSA eBuy (Notice #RFI1802340, March 24–April 3, 2026) and SAM.GOV (Notice #IHS1523245-WRSU-ANASCORP, March 24–April 3, 2026) yielded no competing responses. The justification documents certification of best value based on VA's prior determination that FSS schedule prices are fair and reasonable under FAR 8.404(d).
