Added: Jul 19, 2013 10:58 am PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the release of Solicitation number FA2521-13-B-0019 being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation.

This synopsis is a pre-solicitation notice for a requirement to perform Refuse Services for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), and Patrick AFB, Florida to include one container each at Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex (JDMTA) and Malabar Transmitter Annex. This requirement entails performing services as needed, to include but not limited to the following:


CCAFS: Provide refuse collection and disposal services to identified facilities. Provide, maintain and service refuse collection dumpsters in identified locations (137). Provide roll-off construction and demolition containers of suitable size as requested (estimated at 300 per year). Provide Regulated foreign waste collection and disposal as requested, in accordance with all local and Federal regulations. Provide refuse service for special events as requested.


PAFB: Provide refuse collection and disposal services to identified facilities. Provide, maintain and service refuse collection dumpsters in identified locations (99). Provide roll-offs for refuse, construction and demolition of suitable size as requested (estimated at 200 per year). Provide Regulated foreign waste collection and disposal as requested, in accordance with all local and Federal regulations. Provide refuse service for special events as requested.


The contractor must comply with all requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government intends to award a single contract with a maximum
The period of performance is proposed for one (1) year with four (4) possible option years. Contract start date is 1 Oct 13.



IFB will be available on or about 3 August 2013 with bid closing date on or about 3 September 2013.


This acquisition is 100% HUBZONE business set-aside.


The Invitation For Bid will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov.


Potential offerors must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://www.sam.gov).
Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration.
