About this opportunity

United States Transportation Command is issuing a Request for Information on May 26, 2026 to solicit market research on innovative autonomous and semi-autonomous transportation capabilities across all modes—air, land, sea, and multi-modal—for both passenger and cargo movements in global operations. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal or commit the government to any future procurement, and respondents will not be reimbursed for submission costs.

Responses must address seven structured information categories: company profile and autonomous logistics experience; current fielded autonomous capabilities including payload capacities, operational range, operating environments, and Technology Readiness Level; developmental roadmap with research platforms and 3–10-year fielding milestones; scalability and dynamic routing flexibility; interoperability with existing logistics nodes, material handling equipment, and command/control networks; cybersecurity and resilience measures against cyber threats and electronic interference in contested environments; and domestic and international regulatory compliance strategies.

Submissions must be unclassified, submitted in PDF or standard commercial formats, and limited to 15 pages excluding cover pages and marketing materials. Proprietary information must be clearly marked. Responses are due by 12:00 PM CST on May 26, 2026, directed to Ms. Brenda Marshall at brenda.l.marshall10.civ@mail.mil or 618-817-9385.
