About this opportunity
The US Air Force, through the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), has issued a Special Notice announcing an Industry Day for the Long Range Standoff (LRSO) Carriage Equipment Production requirement. The event is scheduled for July 30-August 1, 2025, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, and relates to DRAFT Fair Opportunity Proposal Request (FOPR) FA2103-25-R-B001 that has been released on the Enterprise Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC) Portal. This announcement is published by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command and targets potential contractors interested in this nuclear weapons carriage equipment opportunity. The three-day event will include briefings, one-on-one discussions with government personnel, and opportunities to physically examine carriage equipment and support equipment assets. Only EWAAC vendors and their subcontractors are eligible to attend this government-industry engagement.
The primary purpose of the Industry Day is to inform potential offerors about the DRAFT FOPR and provide hands-on examination opportunities for the carriage equipment assets involved in the procurement. Contractors must register by no later than 1200 CDT on July 17, 2025, with a maximum of four individuals permitted per company. Attendance is restricted to EWAAC vendors and their subcontractors, with subcontractors required to identify potential EWAAC prime contractors in their attendance requests. The event agenda includes a general briefing on July 30, individual one-on-one meetings on July 31, and asset viewing opportunities spanning July 31-August 1. Strict security protocols apply, including prohibition of electronic devices and mandatory submission of detailed personal and company information for all attendees. Three Air Force points of contact must be included in all registration communications, with confirmation expected within 24 hours of submission.
