About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is conducting a virtual Industry Day on October 27, 2026, to solicit market research and industry feedback for the anticipated VA Canandaigua Phase III Design-Build project. This event is for market-research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposal, or commitment by the Government.

The anticipated requirement is a Design-Build construction project at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, New York, with two primary components: stabilization and "make safe" preparation of Building 1, including repair and restoration of the building envelope, demolition of an existing temporary tunnel, and interior demolition to the structural frame with abatement; and renovation and fit-out of an outpatient pharmacy within Building 3, including associated fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, infection-control measures, commissioning, and turnover.

The Army Corps of Engineers invites prime contractors, subcontractors, design firms, specialty trade contractors, and other industry partners to attend. The Industry Day will address contractor interest, capacity, bonding, labor availability, teaming, schedule feasibility, and market conditions. The virtual event takes place October 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time via Microsoft Teams.
