About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center, in support of the Arnold Engineering Development Complex, is conducting an industry day on October 22, 2026, to solicit innovative thermal metrology and optical diagnostic camera solutions for measuring extreme temperature systems in aerospace component testing. Registration closes October 15, 2026, at 1 p.m. Central Time; the event is in-person only at the Gossick Leadership Center Facility, with no virtual or foreign participation permitted.
The Government seeks advanced optical sensor manufacturers and system integrators offering Infrared cameras, High-Speed and Visible-light cameras, Pyrometers, Hyperspectral imagers, and Spectrometers capable of continuous thermal profiling across extreme temperature regimes, real-time analysis with flow visualization and debris tracking during active testing, and non-intrusive gas-phase and material diagnostics under aerothermal environments.
Eligible participants must maintain active System for Award Management profiles and confirm U.S. citizenship. Registration requires submission of attendee names, titles, company names, CAGE codes, and contact information to leslie.mcgowan@us.af.mil and zachary.dickson.2@us.af.mil. The Government encourages submission of a maximum 5-page Capability Statement in PDF format by October 15, 2026, addressing commercial capabilities, existing sensor product lines, and integration concepts. This announcement does not constitute a request for proposal or invitation for bid; any procurement action will be announced separately. The Government will not reimburse participation costs.
