About this opportunity
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division is preparing to solicit a Multiple Award Contract for Fielded Training Systems Support VI (FTSS VI), with an industry day scheduled for August 18, 2026, and a draft RFP anticipated in November/December 2026. The acquisition is structured with partial small business set-aside: Lot 1 (unrestricted) for large businesses and Lot 2 (small business set-aside only).
The requirement encompasses Contractor Operation & Maintenance Services, Contractor Maintenance Services, Contractor Instructional Services, and full spectrum services including limited training device modifications, relocations, training systems management, spares, and product support. Services support Navy and USMC training systems across surface, subsurface, aviation, and weapons training at CONUS and overseas locations. NAICS code 541330 applies with a $47 million size standard exception; PSC is J069.
The MAC carries an approximately $2.96 billion ceiling over a five-year base ordering period with three additional one-year options. The Government contemplates awarding to all qualifying offerors and intends to award without negotiations. Evaluation criteria include past performance, technical experience, and small business status (Lot 1 only). Secret facility clearance is required as a prerequisite; DD 254s for Secret classification will issue at MAC award with Top Secret orders planned at the task order level. Large businesses must submit subcontracting plans.
The industry day will feature a general session with government presentation and open Q&A from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST on August 18, followed by up to 30-minute 1-on-1 meetings on August 18 or 19–20 as demand requires. All sessions are virtual via MS Teams. Registration is required by email to designated points of contact. The final RFP is targeted for January 2027, with proposals due in March 2027 and award expected in October 2027.
