About this file
This is an Industry Day presentation for the Fielded Training Systems Support VI (FTSS VI) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) acquisition hosted by the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD).
FTSS VI is a five-year base ordering period MAC with three additional one-year options and an approximately $2.96 billion ceiling, structured as two separate lots: Lot 1 (Unrestricted) for large businesses and Lot 2 (Small Business Set-Aside) for small businesses only. The scope encompasses Contractor Operation & Maintenance Services (COMS), Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS), Contractor Instructional Services (CIS), and full spectrum services including limited training device modifications, relocations, training systems management, spares, and product support. Services support Navy and USMC training systems across multiple warfare areas including surface, subsurface, aviation, and weapons training, serving customers at both overseas and CONUS locations. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 (Engineering and Technical Services) with a $47 million size standard exception, and the PSC is J069 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuild of Equipment: Training Aids and Devices). The Government contemplates awarding to all qualifying offerors, intends to award without negotiations, requires Secret facility clearance as a prerequisite, and will evaluate proposals based on past performance, technical experience, and small business status (Lot 1 only). The draft RFP is anticipated in November/December 2026, with the final RFP targeted for January 2027, proposals due in March 2027, and award expected in October 2027. Large businesses in Lot 1 must submit subcontracting plans, and DD 254s for Secret classification will be issued at MAC award with Top Secret orders planned at the task order level.
