About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center, Department of the Air Force Materiel Command, is seeking additional sources for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) supporting the 309th Maintenance Support Group's Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) operations, with responses due May 24, 2026. No set-aside applies.
Work is performed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The 309th MXSG requires contractor assistance with equipment installation, relocation, repair, and modification across a comprehensive range of industrial machinery including CNC machines, HVAC systems, hydraulic equipment, welders, hoists, compressors, and robotic equipment.
Contractor personnel must obtain Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credentials issued on a case-by-case basis for the duration of contract or task order performance. Initial issuance provides 5–7 credentials; additional credentials require justification and MXSG/EN coordination. All contractor staff must complete security training including Operations Security (OPSEC) awareness, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling, antiterrorism awareness, and unit indoctrination before credential issuance. Employees driving in designated controlled movement areas require additional airfield driver training and licensure. Annual refresher training is mandatory; failure to complete training results in immediate credential revocation and removal from the installation.
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 0530–1600 hours, excluding federal holidays and base closures. Contractors must submit detailed quotes with cost breakdowns by materials, labor, subcontractor costs, training, rental equipment, fees, overhead, and other direct costs, and provide interim progress reports and a final project report upon completion. Safety programs must comply with OSHA standards and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standards; mishaps exceeding $2,000 in damage must be reported within one hour.
