About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State's Narcotics Affairs Section is seeking to procure office and IT equipment for CCP2 training sessions in Mexico, specifically targeting cross-border criminal activity prevention efforts. The solicitation (RFQ 19MX9025Q0009) requires vendors to supply 8 workstations with Intel Core i7-12700 processors, 8 31.5" monitors, 2 55" monitors, 4 external hard drives, 12 surge protectors, 2 whiteboards, and 2 HDMI cables. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and comply with telecommunications equipment restrictions. The government will evaluate and award the contract to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible quoter, with proposals due by May 7, 2025. Quotations must include representations and certifications, VAT documentation, and demonstrate compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws.
The solicitation does not specify a specific set-aside designation, indicating the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors. The equipment will be delivered to Veracruz and Lazaro Cardenas ports in Mexico, with a required delivery timeline of 30 business days. All equipment must be new, unopened, include Windows 10 Pro (Spanish), and carry a 12-month warranty. The contract will be firm-fixed price and payable in either Mexican pesos or U.S. dollars. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the procurement is part of a long-term U.S. and Mexican government initiative to detect, deter, prevent, and mitigate criminal activity, with the equipment exclusively used for training sessions at the place of performance in Manuel Contreras, Veracruz.
