The equipment must include an electromagnet with 40 mm diameter pole pieces and a maximum gap of 50 mm; magnetic field range of at least 3.2 T for FeCo or 2.4 T for heated pole pieces; fluxmeter accuracy of 0.5%; temperature range capability of 20°C to 200°C for heated pole pieces; and software meeting specified accuracy levels for remanence (1%), normal coercivity (1.5%), and intrinsic coercivity (1.5%). The quotation must include shipping, delivery, two manuals, optional installation (favorable for evaluation), one-year warranty covering all parts and labor, in-person training for up to two NIST personnel on operation and maintenance, and compliance with ASTM A977 standards.

Quoters must provide technical capability documentation with specific citations to product literature, past performance examples from the last three years (up to five references), and a firm-fixed price including all applicable discounts and shipping.
