About this opportunity
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) announced a sole-source extension modification to Deloitte Consulting LLP's existing contract for Human Resources Management support under FAR 6.302-1; the contract was awarded on May 22, 2026 (contract number HM047626C0017), with performance from June 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026. No competitive solicitation will be posted. The extension enables NGA to continue acquiring a permanent follow-on contract while maintaining uninterrupted HR support to agency employees; changing providers would incur substantial duplication costs and create mission delays during the transition. The sole-source modification provides end-to-end HR services spanning recruitment through retirement, aligned with Office of Personnel Management guidelines. Although competition was not sought, any firm believing it could meet the requirement was permitted to submit written notification to the contract specialist by February 2, 2026 at 12:00 pm EST, with supporting evidence demonstrating capability to perform. The government reserved discretion to compete the procurement based on responses received. The original special notice contemplated a 12-month base period (June 1, 2026–May 31, 2027) followed by two 3-month option periods, though the awarded contract term reflects a six-month bridge to November 30, 2026.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source extension modification to an existing contract with Deloitte Consulting LLP under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 to continue supporting the NGA Human Resources Management (HRM). This extension will enable NGA time to continue the acquisition process of a follow-on and support a transition period to ensure no disruption to the current support to NGA employees.
