About this opportunity

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center has published a Special Notice for the Human Health and Performance Contract 2 (HHPC2). The HHPC2 is a follow-on contract to the existing HHPC and will continue to provide a broad range of services related to human health and performance for NASA's human spaceflight programs.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to notify interested parties about an upcoming Industry Day presentation and facility tour on January 29, 2024. The event aims to promote competition and understanding for the HHPC2 procurement, which has a proposed period of performance from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2030. The scope of work will transition entirely from the current HHPC contract and is expected to cover medical, health, laboratory, engineering, and research services. The government is considering options such as a longer period of performance, a multiple-award contract structure, and potentially setting the contract aside for small businesses. Detailed contract requirements and evaluation criteria will be released with the draft Request for Proposal (RFP).
