About this opportunity

Customs and Border Protection is conducting a Request for Information and Sources Sought exclusively for HUBZone-certified vendors to assess qualifications and interest in a security systems maintenance and repair service contract across 15 Puerto Rico locations and 9 U.S. Virgin Islands locations, with responses due June 10, 2026. The anticipated FY26 contract is valued at less than $2 million and covers a base year plus four option years; CBP reserves the right to award on a sole-source basis if fewer than multiple qualified HUBZone responses are received.

Contractor responsibilities include providing properly trained and certified electronic service technician(s) for maintenance, repair, and warranty services on access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV-monitoring equipment at all sites. All contractor personnel require background checks. Systems maintenance must comply with manufacturer specifications.

Responses must include company contact information, SAM UEI, HUBZone certification confirmation, interest in quoting, and a capability statement not exceeding five pages detailing qualifications, relevant government contract experience, and subcontracting plans. Submissions are due June 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET to colin.a.colgan@cbp.dhs.gov with subject line "20158159 - RFI Response." The requirement is classified under NAICS 561621 and PSC J059.
