About this opportunity
The National Park Service's Midwest Region is conducting a market survey for a security and fire alarm systems replacement project at Hopewell Culture National Historical Park in Ross County, Ohio. The project requires vendors to provide labor, materials, and equipment to replace existing fire and intrusion alarm systems across multiple buildings. Interested contractors must submit their market survey response via email to jordan_ellis@nps.gov by 12:00 PM ET on April 9, 2025, using the reference number 140P6425B0005. Vendors must have a Unique Entity ID, be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and complete Online Representations and Certifications to be eligible. The Contracting Officer will determine the final acquisition strategy based on responses to this market survey, with a focus on small business participation.
The contract is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price procurement with an estimated value between $500,000 and $1 million, targeted for solicitation in April 2025 and award in June 2025. The project falls under NAICS code 238210 for Electrical Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $19.0 million. Construction Wage Rate Requirements specific to Ross County will apply, and bonding requirements will be mandatory for the selected contractor. No specific set-aside has been predetermined, as the Contracting Officer will make that determination after reviewing market survey responses. The project timeline suggests a relatively rapid procurement process, with potential contract performance expected to commence shortly after the anticipated June 2025 award date.
