About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking a contractor to replace the existing Wonderware Master Operator Interface Terminal and install a new human machine interface (HMI) on ASCO manufactured generator switchgear equipment at Building 23265, located at Beale AFB, California. The solicitation (FA468625Q0004) is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and services under NAICS code 541690 for Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. Key contract requirements include ensuring the new system supports and integrates with existing on-site generators while maintaining operational performance and mission requirements, with a mandatory five-year warranty. Evaluation criteria will focus on technical capabilities, delivery schedule, and compliance with specification sheet requirements. Offers are due on January 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM PST, with a submission to be made to Contracting Officer Candice Woods or Contract Specialist Lamar Mullins.
The solicitation is an unrestricted procurement with no specific set-aside designations. The contract appears to be a sole-source justification for ASCO Power Services, Inc., as they are the exclusive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with proprietary tools and factory-trained technicians. While a specific contract value was not explicitly stated, the project supports critical infrastructure for the 548th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, which houses over $2 billion in Distributed Common Ground System equipment. The period of performance is relatively short, spanning from January 31, 2025, to February 28, 2025, indicating a focused, time-limited engagement. The work will be performed at Beale AFB in California, with standard work hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and requires contractors to obtain base access through the Entry Access List (EAL) process and comply with all base security protocols.
