About this opportunity
The United States Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base intends to solicit design, development, testing, integration, procurement, installation, and deployment of a Degraded Visual Environment System (DVES) for the HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopter, with a pre-solicitation notice response deadline of July 10, 2026.
The DVES solution must provide real-time hazard detection in both enroute and terminal areas, displaying information on cockpit and cabin displays. The system shall function effectively across multiple degraded visual environment conditions, including those created by ambient or artificial conditions (smoke, smog, snow, night, sand, dust) and aircraft-induced conditions (brownout, whiteout). Work encompasses material solution development and all non-recurring engineering required to install DVES kits on the platform.
The anticipated contract period consists of one base period of twenty-four months followed by one ordering period and one option to activate ordering periods 2–6, establishing a total potential period of performance of eight years. The procurement is coded to Aircraft Manufacturing (NAICS 336411) and Modification of Equipment—Aircraft and Airframe Structural Components (PSC K015). No set-aside is anticipated.
