About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The 56th Contracting Squadron (CONS) at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona intends to award a sole-source contract to Diagnostica Stago, Inc. for the lease of a Hemostasis Coagulation System for the 56th Medical Group. The system is required to perform prothrombin time, INR, and activated partial prothrombin time testing. Key requirements include FDA-approved quality controls, various testing methodologies, and a current operating system capable of security updates. The contractor shall also provide reagents, supplies, service, maintenance, and training. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Responses are due by August 6, 2024 at 4:00 PM MST.
Paragraph 2:
This is not a set-aside procurement. The current Diagnostica Stago STA/Satellite analyzer is already integrated into the 56th MDG Laboratory Information System, and the technicians are fully trained and competent on the existing equipment. Acquiring a new instrument would be a waste of resources. The notice states that there is no solicitation planned, and the award will be made to Diagnostica Stago, Inc. on a sole-source basis if no affirmative written response is received demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the government.
