About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps seeks to procure 15 Frontline 500 total encapsulating protective suits for hazardous materials response, with quotes due July 24, 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The procurement is set aside for women-owned small businesses (WOSB) at 100 percent and is being conducted under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures.
Place of performance and delivery span multiple Department of Defense facilities: DLA Distribution Management Office at Cherry Point, North Carolina; Marine Corps installations at Quantico, Virginia; Parris Island, South Carolina; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and San Diego, California. All delivery is due by August 31, 2026.
The suits must be Kappler Frontline 500 Level A models (part numbers F5H582-91 for front-entry and F5H583-91 for rear-entry configurations) compliant with NFPA 1991 or NFPA 1990 (1991 Edition) standards. Eight line items specify various size and configuration combinations (SM/MD, LG/XL, 2X/3X) with front-entry and rear-entry AquaSeal gas-tight zippers, field-replaceable glove systems, removable Kevlar overgloves, attached sock booties with splash guards, knee reinforcements, and double heat-sealed seams. All items require DoD unique identification marking per DFARS 252.211-7003.
Evaluation criteria are technical acceptability conforming to specifications, fair and reasonable pricing, past performance, and delivery capability, with award to the quoter providing the most advantageous offer. Award is on a firm fixed-price basis. Quoters must submit electronically via email to Sergeant Gabriel Mendez at gabriel.mendez@usmc.mil, be actively registered in SAM at submission, and acknowledge Amendment 0001 (effective July 17, 2026) prior to the deadline. The NAICS code is 339113 with a size standard of 800 employees; the PSC code is 8415. Qualified small-business resellers may submit quotations; manufacturer authorization letters are not required and the nonmanufacturer rule does not apply.
