About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration is seeking annual boiler maintenance services for its facility located at 1400 VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. The procurement will be conducted under solicitation number 36C24125Q0459, with the government intending to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract to the most advantageous responsive offeror. The evaluation will consider price and other unspecified factors, with the goal of selecting a vendor that effectively meets the maintenance requirements. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to contract award, and questions about the procurement should be directed to Contracting Officer Issa Shawki via email. The solicitation documents will be available for download on May 7, 2025, with a response deadline of May 14, 2025 at 12 PM Eastern Standard Time.

The contract opportunity is exclusively set aside for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and will be classified under NAICS code 811310, which covers commercial and industrial machinery and equipment repair and maintenance. While specific award value details are not provided in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract appears to be for a single annual maintenance service at the VA facility. The procurement falls under Product Service Code H245, which relates to equipment and materials testing for plumbing, heating, and waste disposal equipment. Interested veterans-owned small businesses that specialize in boiler maintenance and meet the government's requirements are eligible to compete for this contract. The short timeline between document availability and response deadline suggests the VA is seeking a quick turnaround for this maintenance service.
